Trudy Sween now lives and works in Corpus Christi, Texas.
In the past she has lived in a Phoenix, Arizona studio/loft shedesigned with
her daughter, Brooke Sween-McGloin AIA, partner, McGloin + Sween, Corpus Christi,
Texas.
In her thirty-eight years in art she has participated in over ninety exhibits
on three continents. Some of the most memorable other projects are:
National Panelist and Curator, "Women: Art :Houston."
Poster designer for International Women's Year.
Five National Women Artists: Mischener Gallery, Un.Of Texas, Austin.
Sculpture near NASA for Christopher Development Co. Three and half
tons of steel, entitled, "Desire & Fate."
Set designs: Equinox Theater, and Rice University.
Production Designer for award winning film, "The Trust."
Curator: "The New Nude" and "Doors:Houston Artists" Curator:
Houston Grand Opera, covers and posters.
Ms. Sween's works have been collected by Museums, Corporations,
Banks, and private collectors internationally.
